Riverside is in the historic heart of Dumbarton, at the end of the High Street, at a location which has seen worship for over a thousand years. The current building was constructed in 1811 and the site was remodelled in the 1970s to include a large suite of multi-purpose halls.
50 Years 1972-2022
2022 marks 50 years since the Old Parish Church, the High Church and the North Church came together in Union to form Dumbarton Riverside, joined a decade later by Knoxland.

Riverside is a vibrant and active church that worships in the centre of Dumbarton.
Riverside, in Dumbarton’s town centre, brings together people of all ages at our weekly service on Sunday mornings and extends Christian fellowship throughout the week with various groups and activities in our extensive hall complex.
We have a whole range of different activities including Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, Scouts and Boys’ Brigade, ladies keep-fit and badminton, indoor bowling and groups for women on a Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon, with both a Playgroup and a Parent and Toddlers Group.
Every Tuesday there is a soup and sandwich lunch, and a range of different social activities.
