Update on Messy Church

Messy ChurchOur Easter Messy Church was very busy with our best attendance of children and adults yet.

As usual the children delighted in many Easter crafts such as egg decorating, Easter cake making, small crosses decorated in stained glass window fashion, Easter baskets etc.

It is lovely to see children of all ages using their imagination and skills and producing something of their very own.

The Games Hall was vey busy with children and parents enjoying themselves in all the activities on offer there.Daffodil Cross

Everyone later went through to the Main Hall to have their appetites and thirsts quenched by a lovely supper which included such delights as hot dogs, sandwiches, cakes, ice cream and juice.

The supper was followed as usual by a story, in this case the Easter Story, and finally a sing-song.

Messy Church

Messy Church is about trying to do church in a different way; to reach out to people of all ages who maybe wouldn’t normally come to church and also people who do come to church.

At Messy Church events the community is invited to try a range of activities including, arts, crafts, music and drama before enjoying food with other participants
