Following a successful event during the General Assembly, the Church of Scotland has decided to host another dialogue through which everyone in the church – and others – can discuss their thoughts, feelings and concerns about the referendum and explore how, through this decision, we might build a Scotland which holds values such as equality, justice, compassion and tolerance at its heart.
Tickets for the Church of Scotland’s respectful dialogue on the independence referendum at St George’s Tron in Glasgow on September 3 are still available and the event will be “live streamed” to audiences and individuals across the country via a link on the Church of Scotland website.
On 5th December a bus will be travelling to the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow to give members of the Congregation the opportunity to support the CLIC Sargent Carol Concert. This annual event has been very much enjoyed by those attending for several years now, and the concert has been a most successful fund-raising event for CLIC Sargent.
Our annual Nearly New Sale will be held on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th October in the Games Hall. Doors will be open from 10.00 am– 4.00 pm on Friday, and from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm on Saturday.
Tea and coffee will be available in the Main Hall.
The popular Allsorts Choir will be returning to Riverside Church on Friday 19th September at 7.30 pm – a night of music and song for everyone to enjoy.
Tickets are now available from the Church Office, and members of the Social & Projects Committee. Tickets will also be available at the door, on the night.
