    Hi,
I am writing to offer you the chance to view our Home Safety Road Show play with no cost to yourselve. I have listed some back ground information below.

The plays were commissioned by the Home Safety Thematic group which sits under the umbrella of the Community Safety Partnership.

    The Group Aims

    · To increase people’s awareness and knowledge, in order to prevent incidents/accidents in and around the home.

    · To reduce the incidents and accidents in the home.

    · Promote Home Safety and security.

    · For people to feel safer

The group wanted to promote the aims in an initiative and decided to commission a Play which would provide information and advice on a variety of home safety issues relating to people in the community.

The play addresses issues such as Cold Calling, Slips, Trips and Falls, and Fire Safety, in an light hearted entertaining way.

The play is called (Home Sweet Home) is performed by Kickstart Theatre Company, http://kickstarttheatre.com, and lasts around 20-30 minutes.

It has been has already been delivered to older people and Carers in West Dunbartonshire in the format of a Road Show going out mainly to where people already meet.

If you would like the play to attend one of your groups/meeting please contact me as I would like to arrange these plays a.s.a.p.

    Kind Regards

    K Prior

Hi I visited your Church when you were having a Christmas Tree Festival in Advent 2011. I enjoyed the experience so much that I shared this with my minister the Rev John Cook in Howe Trinity Church Alford Aberdeenshire. We are now planning a Christmas Tree Festival in our Church and wondered if you could share any of your planning ideas with us???
    Thank you

      Hi Theresa

Thanks for getting in touch, it’s great to hear you enjoyed your visit to Dumbarton Riverside. The Christmas Tree Festival was a great success, helped by all the organisations and individuals who enthusiastically took part. I have sent you an email with the contact details of our session clerk who will be happy to help.
