CLIC Sargent Carol Concert

Again this year, the Social & Projects Committee will be organizing a bus to provide transport to the CLIC Sargent Carol Concert at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Friday 6th December. Those wishing to attend are asked to give their names to Jean Ballantyne. The cost will be £26. A few tickets are still available.

Over several years many members of Riverside Church have enjoyed this Christmas Concert which has proved to be an excellent fundraising event for CLIC Sargent who are working to help children with cancer and leukemia.

Vacancy Progress

Both Riverside and The West Kirk were updated today about the progress that the Nominating Committee have made.

Adverts were placed in Ministers’ Forum in July, along with an ad in Life and Work which will appear in the September edition.

Very creative leaflets were handed out at Heart and Soul.

Both congregations have their Parish Profiles available online through the Riverside website.

Members of both congregations have been invited to submit recommendations of any minister they may have heard over the summer period when on holiday that they liked. Please speak to any member of the Nominating Committee or the interim moderator.
